Wood bowls, vessels, vases, urns, ornaments, tree toppers and wood sculpture pieces in the Gallery are available for sale at the shows listed below or in the listed galleries below. Direct sales can be arranged by contacting me at the addresses to the right. My inventory of work is relatively large. Only a portion of the inventory is presented on the gallery, urns and vases, recent work and boxes pages. Some of the pieces already have a home, but are representative of the type of work I do and similar pieces are usually available.
Please contact me if you have a special request for a unique wedding gift, or if you need an item for your home or office, such as a wood lamp base, a large wooden bowl, vase or urn. I primarily use native Northwest species in my work and I have an inventory of wood from which I can make that particular piece you have in mind. You may have a downed tree from which I could create your piece. If you do have wood of unique character, let's talk trade - your wood for a custom piece made from that wood.Festival of the Arts show July 26-29 in Bellevue. Support the arts by participating in auctions of my work at artEast, Pratt Fine Arts Centre, and Village Theatre. Please see recent work for examples of items that will be available at these venues.
A selection of my inventory can be found at the ArtEast Gallery in Issaquah, 15 miles east of Seattle.
Other galleries featuring my work are The Wood Merchant in La Conner, WA, and Childhood's End Gallery in Olympia, WA. Sea urchin ornaments can be found at those galleries as well as at Stix & Stones Gallery in Calistoga, CA.
Until April 15, one of my monkey puzzle vessels will be in the Bellevue Art Museum "Making Our Mark" show featuring art by instructors from Pratt Fine Art Center.
Contact me for direct sales. Ornaments and tree toppers are $25-$50, plus the direct costs related to your order, depending on the urchin species, its size and the wood used for the icicle. They are mailed in sturdy, reuseable tubes.
I am an instructor at Pratt Fine Arts in Seattle, teaching beginning and intermediate woodturning classes. Check for future courses and sign up at Pratt's on-line class registration site. I demonstrate woodturning at events and clubs and can provide one-on-one instruction. This Spring, you will haave a chance to bid on a day of turning instruction in my shop at fund-raising art auctions.
